Negus Summary

Negus has two ideologies regarding the music industry; these were organic and synthetic. Organic is when an artist is home grown and is true to where they started for example bands like the Arctic Monkeys would be organic as they have kept the same type of music and stayed with the same Independent label (Domino Records). Synthetic is when an artist or group is manufactured by a large scale music company (Sony) with mainly manufactured songs, an example of a synthetic music artists would be One Direction because they were created by a major label (SYCO) because they had the right boyband image and would have music made for them.
